Donald Watson 1918 - 2005

Donald Watson remains primarily an artist of the Scottish countryside and its birds. In his paintings he manages the very difficult task of capturing the atmosphere of seeing the birds in their natural environment and at the same time painting them in a way that will satisfy the most critical stickler for ornithological accuracy.
