Harry Becker 1865 - 1928

Harry Becker spent most of his life in East Anglia where he recorded the everyday life of farm labourers and rural scenes in oil, watercolour and etchings. He trained in Paris under Carolus Duran, and was greatly influenced by the Impressionist movement, particulary Edgar Degas.
