Frank Gillett 1874 - 1927

English graphic artist, painter and draughtsman. Leading artist for the Daily Graphic 1898 - 1908. After this time, Gillett was mainly occupied in painting and engraving sporting subjects and natural scenes. It is estimated that Frank Gillett produced less than 50 drypoint engravings. The most comprehensive collections being at the British Museum and the Victoria and Albert Musuem, London.
