Raymond Sheppard R. I.

1913 - 1958

Raymond Sheppard studied at Bolt Court under S.G. Boxsius and became a member of the Pastel Society in

1948 and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours in 1949.

He was a founder member of the Wapping Arts Group and was made a Fellow of the Zoological Society in1946.

He wrote and illustrated three books on drawing techniques as well as illustrating numerous other books

( including four by Jim Corbett ) and magazines such as Lilliput and Picture Post.
